Sour-Cream Raisin Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 3/4 c. uncooked oats
    1 3/4 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    3 large egg yolks
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, cook raisins in 1 1/2 cups water for 10 minutes.
    Drain;
    set aside.
    In medium bowl, with electric mixer at\thigh
    speed, beat butter with brown sugar until light and fluffy.
    At low
    speed,
    add
    oats,
    flour, soda; mix until blended.
    Press half of
    mixture
    into
    13 x 9-inch baking pan; set aside.\tPreheat
    oven to 350\u00b0.\tIn another medium saucepan, combine egg yolks, sour cream, granulated sugar and cornstarch. Over medium
    heat,\tcook,
    stirring
    constantly
    until
    mixture thickens.
    Stir in\traisins
    and vanilla; pour over oat mixture in pan.
    Sprinkle
    with remaining oat mixture; bake 30 minutes. When cool, cut into small bars.\tYield: about 2 dozen bars.
