Ginger Creams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2/3 c. molasses
    2 eggs
    1 c. warm water
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add beaten eggs and molasses. Sift dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with warm water.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes in slightly greased jelly roll pan.
    Frost with powdered sugar frosting.
    Cut while warm.
    For thicker bars, use 13 x 9-inch pan.
