Happy Times Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    4 c. cranberry juice
    1 c. orange juice
    1 c. lemon juice
    1 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Add all three juices.
    Just before serving, add ginger ale.
    Sprinkle ginger inside of punch bowl.
    Makes nearly 3 quarts.
