Frozen Oreo Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    24 Oreo cookies
    1/2 gal. ice cream
    Mrs. Richardson's fudge topping
    Cool Whip (medium size)
Preparation
    Crush cookies and mix with melted butter.
    Pour mix into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cut ice cream into 8 sections 3/4-inch thick.
    Spread fudge topping over the ice cream and freeze, then put Cool Whip on top and garnish with cookie crumbs; freeze again.
