Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (own juice)
    2 c. mini marshmallows
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. Spanish peanuts
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    2 c. apples (unpeeled), diced
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, saving the juice.
    Mix the pineapple and marshmallows and put in covered container.
    Refrigerate overnight. In a small saucepan, mix pineapple juice, sugar, flour, vinegar and the egg.
    Heat over medium heat until mixture becomes thick. Put this in another container, cover and refrigerate overnight.
