Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 C. pretzels, crushed
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1/2 C. sugar
    1 8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 C. sugar
    1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
    1/4 C. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Mix pretzels, margarine and 1/2 cup sugar. Press into a 13x9 inch glass dish. Mix Cool Whip, cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar together and spread on first layer. Drain juice from pineapple and mix with 1/4 cup of sugar and cornstarch. Cook until thick, add pineapple and pour on top. Refrigerate until cool.
