Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. yellow squash
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 stick margarine or butter
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt to taste
    1/2 tsp. black pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash, slice and boil squash until tender.
    Drain thoroughly. Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
    Add squash and onion.
    Mix beaten egg, salt and pepper (I use a dash of hot sauce); mix with squash.
    Cover with cracker crumbs and 2 tablespoons melted butter.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven until done or brown.
