Ingredients

1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco, melted
2 eggs
2 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat eggs until light and foamy.
Beat in sugar, vanilla and Crisco until creamy.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to egg mixture.
Mix at low speed until blended.
Stir in nuts. Mixture will be stiff.
Spread evenly in 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes.
Cut into bars. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
