Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Shortening
    1 c. Sugar
    1/4 c. Light or Dark Molasses
    1 Egg (beaten)
    2 c. Flour (sifted)
    2 tsp. Baking Soda
    1/4 tsp. Salt
    1 tsp. Cinnamon
    1 tsp. Cloves
    1 tsp. Ginger
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add molasses and egg;
    Beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients; Add to creamed mixture; Mix well.
