Steak Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    6 whole carrots
    2 large onions
    potatoes
Preparation
    Cut round steak in 3-inch or 4-inch strips.
    Wrap steak around carrot and secure with toothpicks.
    Brown in fat in Dutch oven. Cut onions in rings and place on top of rolls.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer until almost tender; remove from pan.
    Place quartered potatoes on bottom of Dutch oven.
    (If dry, add water.) Salt potatoes; place rolls back on top; continue cooking until potatoes are soft.
