Shrimp Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. shrimp
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
    3 Tbsp. ketchup
    3 tsp. sugar
    pepper to taste
    4 Tbsp. oil
    5 slices ginger
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    4 green onions
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 c. water chestnuts
    1/2 c. bamboo shoots, sliced
    2 Tbsp. pimento
    2 c. pea pod
Preparation
    Peel
    and
    devein
    shrimp;
    combine
    soy sauce, sherry, ketchup, sugar
    and
    pepper.
    Heat oil in wok or skillet.
    Add garlic;
    stir-fry for 30 seconds;
    remove garlic.
    Add ginger; stir-fry for 30 seconds; add shrimp, stir-fry for 5 minutes or until shrimp
    turn\tpink.
    Add onion, celery, mushrooms, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots.
    Stir-fry 30 seconds; stir in soy sauce mixture.
    Add pimento and pea pods; heat through.
