Louisiana Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. mashed cooked yams
1/2 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
2 eggs
1 small can evaporated milk or 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. ginger
1 unbaked pie crust

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Pour in unbaked pie shell (9-inch); bake one hour at 350\u00b0.
Garnish with finely chopped pecans.
Serve warm.
