Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1/3 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add alternately sifted dry ingredients and milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Add vanilla and lemon.
