Country Sausage Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. pork sausage
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1 (8 oz.) carton French onion dip
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimiento, drained
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Brown sausage, stirring to crumble.
    Drain well, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. Combine flour, cornmeal, sausage and pimiento. Add reserved drippings, onion dip and milk.
    Stir just enough to moisten dry ingredients.
    Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Yields 1 dozen muffins.
