Mexican Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer, cut up
    1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
    Combine flour and chili powder; dredge chicken in flour mixture and brown in hot oil in electric skillet.
    Remove chicken from skillet.
    Add onion, green pepper and garlic to skillet; saute until tender.
    Stir in rice, tomatoes and water.
    Arrange chicken over rice and vegetables.
    Cover and simmer 35 minutes.
