Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    2 lb. kraut
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. red pepper or pimiento
    1 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    Boil together and cool the sugar and vinegar.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Pour syrup over mixture.
    Then cover and let sit overnight to season.
