Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time. Add flour, baking powder and salt.
    Alternate with milk and vanilla.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
