Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine
6 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. orange juice
1 lb. red and green pineapple
2 c. or more white raisins and coconut, combined
2 c. nuts
2 c. sugar
5 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 lb. red and green cherries
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time and beat until fluffy.
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Add 1 cup to chopped fruits and nuts.
Mix juice and seasoning and add alternately with flour mixture to shortening mixture.
Fold in floured fruit and nuts; mix well.
