Chicken Cordon Bleu(Serves 6) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large chicken breasts, boned and skinned
6 thin slices ham
6 slices Swiss cheese
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. chicken flavored gravy base
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 Tbsp. flour
toasted, sliced almonds (optional)
Preparation

Roll chicken
pieces,
boned side up, on cutting board. Working from center
out,
pound chicken with wooden mallet to 1/4-inch thick.
Sprinkle
with salt.
Place 1 ham slice and 1 cheese slice on each cutlet. Tuck in sides of each and roll up tightly,
then
skewer.
Coat
rolls
with
flour.
Brown\tin margarine and remove to baking pan.
