English Trifle - A Layered Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    yellow or white cake mix (for sheet cake)
    1 large can fruit cocktail or any desired fruit, drained
    1 pkg. instant pistachio pudding mix, prepared and refrigerated
    1 container whipped cream
    1 pkg. coconut flakes or other desired topping
    food coloring (your choice)
Preparation
    Drain all liquid from canned fruit and reserve for use in cake mix as part of the water needed in box recipe.
    Follow cake directions for sheet cake.
    Let cool.
