Russian Borsch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 pt. meat stock
    9 oz. chopped cabbage
    1 onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. tomato puree or 3 tomatoes
    2 to 3 beets
    2 carrots
    1 to 2 garlic cloves
Preparation
    Add cabbage and onion to boiling stock.
    Meanwhile, cook and puree other vegetables, then add to the soup and cook about 10 minutes more.
    Salt to taste.
