Potato Cheese Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cold prepared mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese or cottage cheese
    1/3 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. chopped chives
    1/4 tsp. salt
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    In medium bowl, combine all ingredients, except oil; mix well. In large skillet, drop mixture by heaping tablespoonfuls, a few at a time, in small amount of hot oil.
    Fry until golden on both sides.
    Serve hot.
