Jane'S Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns, shredded not chunked
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. oleo, softened
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 small carton sour cream
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Thaw potatoes for 2 hours.
    Mix first 6 ingredients together. Add Cheddar cheese and sour cream and mix.
    Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan; top with cornflakes and butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, uncovered.
    May add chunks of ham for a main-dish casserole.
