Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. roasted salted peanuts
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole mix sugar and syrup.
    Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in nuts.
    Microwave for 3 to 5 minutes on High until light brown.
    Add butter and vanilla; stir well. Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes more.
    Add soda and stir until light and foamy.
    Pour onto greased sheet.
    Let cool for 1 hour.
    When cool, break into pieces.
