Russian Teacakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
    1/2 c. 10x sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix thoroughly butter, sugar and vanilla. Work in flour, salt and nuts until the dough holds together.
    Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set but not brown.
    While warm, roll in 10x sugar.
    Cool and roll in sugar again.
