Country Egg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bread (decrust optional)
    1 lb. sausage
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    5 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Toast the bread if desired.
    Layer in greased pan.
    Cook the sausage; crumble, drain well and sprinkle over bread.
    Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
    Beat eggs, milk, salt and mustard.
    Pour over other ingredients.
    Let stand overnight.
    Partially cover with foil and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour; uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
    Can freeze; reheats well.
    Nice with fruit salad and sweet rolls.
