Spring Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. cream of asparagus soup, undiluted
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. grated onion
    1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    small pinch of pepper
    1 c. minced cucumbers
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add soup, vinegar, onion and mayonnaise.
    Stir until blended.
    Add peppers and cucumbers. Pour into a 1-quart mold or 6 individual ones.
    Chill until firm. Unmold on lettuce and garnish with additional mayonnaise, if desired.
    Makes 6 servings.
