Crab Cakes Southern Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (7 1/2 oz. each) cans crabmeat, drained and flaked
2 slices bread, torn into 1/4-inch pieces
1/2 c. biscuit baking mix
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 egg
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. paprika
dash of ground nutmeg
1/3 c. biscuit mix
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
chili sauce or tartar sauce
Preparation

Mix crabmeat, bread, 1/2 cup baking mix, mayonnaise, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, paprika and nutmeg.
Drop by 1/3 cupfuls into 1/3 cup baking mix, turning to coat on all sides. Shape into 2 1/2-inch cakes.
