Peanut Mallow Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (18 1/4 oz.) yellow cake mix
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/3 c. butter, softened
    1 egg
    4 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 pkg. (10 oz.) peanut butter chips
    2/3 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. crisp rice cereal
    2 c. salted peanuts
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, beat the cake mix, water, butter and egg until blended (batter will be thick). Spread into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Bake 2 minutes longer. Remove and set aside. In a large saucepan, combine the peanut butter chips, corn syrup and butter; cook and stir over medium low heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, cereal and peanuts. Spread over marshmallows. Cool completely. Cut with a sharp knife.
