Divine Date Nut Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 c. flour
1 lb. chopped, pitted dates (approximately 3 c.)
4 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Beat together eggs, sugar and oil.
Add dry ingredients and mix.
Add dates and pecans.
Mix.
Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
Place in cold oven.
Turn the oven to 300\u00b0 and bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until cake is firm in the middle.
Cool.
Remove from pan and slice with a sharp knife or wrap and freeze.
Makes one 3 pound loaf.
