Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. powdered sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Gradually work flour into creamed mixture.
    Stir in vanilla and nuts.
    Form into small balls.
    Bake on an ungreased sheet in a 325\u00b0 gas oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
    Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
