Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk (can be made by adding 1 Tbsp. vinegar to milk)
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    4 to 5 mashed ripe bananas
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Add flour, salt and soda; alternate with buttermilk.
    Add bananas and nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until sides loosen in Bundt pan.
    Needs no frosting, very moist.
