Old Fashioned Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 pounds of round steak
    4 Tbsp flour
    2 large onions
    1 c. water
    1 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    2 Tbsp fat
    1 beef bouillon cube
    3 1/4 to 3 1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp sugar
    1 Tbsp shortening
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. warm water
Preparation
    Let rise, knead to a soft dough.
    When raised turn on board and roll to a 14 by 10 rectangle.
    Spread dressing over the middle. Leave sides to turn over. 1/4 c. thousand Island dressing, 6 oz. sliced corned beef or dried beef, 4 oz. swiss cheese. 1 small can drained sauerkraut.
    Pull sides over and pinch together.
    Spread one egg white and poppy seeds over.
    Let rise 10 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
