Hawaiian Sweet And Sour Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. spareribs (have butcher cut ribs in fourth)
    1 c. water or broth
    1/3 c. shoyu
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 small bottle Chasui sauce
    1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
    Mirin
    crushed garlic
    grated ginger
    shredded daikon and carrots for garnish
Preparation
    Boil ribs in
    water
    for
    about 30 minutes; drain.
    Add all ingredients (except the garnish) and cook about 15 minutes on high to coat
    well and tender.
    Layer platter with shredded daikon and carrots mixture.
    Pour ribs on top and serve.
