Applesauce Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 cup light brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup applesauce
1 cup chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine butter, sugar and cinnamon. Add syrup, applesauce, pecans and eggs. Blend well. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and continue baking for 25-30 minutes more. Cool before cutting.
