Summer Squash Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. summer squash
    4 tomatoes, sliced
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cut squash into halves.
    Remove seeds and cover with tomatoes and onions.
    Sprinkle with next 4 ingredients and top with bits of butter.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 6.
