Herbed Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
    2 Tbsp. minced chives
    2 Tbsp. minced fresh chervil or 1/4 tsp. dried chervil
    1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced
    3/4 tsp. minced fresh tarragon or 1/4 tsp. dried tarragon
    1/4 tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning
    assorted crackers
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add the parsley, chives, chervil, garlic, tarragon and lemon-pepper; mix well.
    Transfer to a serving dish.
    Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
    Remove from the refrigerator 15 minutes before serving.
    Serve with crackers. Yield: 1 1/2 cups.
