Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 - 1 1/4 lb. ground turkey or ground chuck
    6-8 strips center cut bacon
    1 14 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes
    1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
    1 can light kidney beans, undrained
    2 tsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut up bacon in 1/4-1/2 inch pieces with kitchen shears. Brown bacon and ground meat together until cooked through.
    If using ground chuck, drain off fat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer for at least an hour.
