Mardi Gras Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. butterscotch morsels
1/4 c. water
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3 unbeaten eggs
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Melt morsels in water.
Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk and morsels.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
