Calico Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 c. catsup
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
1 (16 oz.) can lima beans, drained
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can butter beans, drained
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
Preparation

Brown bacon and onion in large skillet.
Add catsup, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard and salt, stirring to combine.
Combine sauce with pork and beans, lima beans, butter beans and kidney beans.
Cook, covered, in 2 1/2-quart casserole in slow oven (325\u00b0) for 30 minutes.
Remove:
cover and continue cooking 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
