Falafel And Tehina - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. chickpeas (I use canned)
1/4 tsp. coriander
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. ground red chili pepper
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. cracked wheat flour
1 lightly beaten egg
oil for deep frying
Preparation

Drain can of chickpeas.
Mash.
Add next seven ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
Taking a spoonful of the mixture at a time, roll into balls about 1-inch in diameter.
Heat oil and deep-fry falafel until browned.
Drain.
Serve hot on a gyro bread or in a pita bread pocket with tehina on top Tehina recipe follows.
