Banana Cupcakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream shortening and vanilla.
Add sugar gradually, creaming until light.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add alternately with bananas and buttermilk to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
