Fried Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans whole kernel corn
1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. plain white flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. Hormel real bacon bits
1 Tbsp. minced or chopped onions (optional)
1 Tbsp. butter
3 to 4 c. water
Preparation

In a heavy cast iron skillet put cooking oil.
Pour corn in bowl and mix with flour, sugar and pepper.
Pour ingredients into skillet that has been preheated with oil.
Reduce heat to low and add about 1/2 of the water.
Cover and cook slowly for 30 minutes or more, stirring occasionally.
When corn begins to stick, add more water.
When ready add butter and a few dashes of paprika and salt to taste.
Serves 6 to 8.
