Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. basil or marjoram leaves
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    28 oz. can (3 1/2 c.) tomatoes (undrained)
    16 oz. pkg. (4 c.) uncooked shrimp
Preparation
    In large skillet, saute green pepper and onion in margarine until tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
    Heat to boiling.
    Simmer, covered, for 12 to 15 minutes, or until shrimp are firm and pink, stirring occasionally.
    Makes 5 servings.
