Gayle'S Butter Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Pie Pastry - enough to make a double crust pie
    1/3 c. butter/margarine, melted
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 tsp. milk
    1/2 c. raisins/currants
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put pastry in tart shells.
    Mix all ingredients and put in shells.
    Bake in 450\u00b0 oven for 8 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake until thoroughly browned.
