Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cardamon
1 egg yolk
granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. finely chopped almonds
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. soft butter
Preparation

In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients, except the granulated sugar.
Knead quickly.
Chill.
Shape the dough into a long roll 1/2-inch wide.
Cut off small pieces of the dough and roll into balls.
Dip the balls into the granulated sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 on a buttered cookie sheet for about 12 minutes.
