Sweet And Sour Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 or 4 large onions, sliced into thin rings
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 (16 oz.) cans butter beans
1 (16 oz.) can lima beans
1 (15 oz.) can baked beans
1/2 lb. bacon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 (8 oz.) can kidney beans
2 Tbsp. molasses
Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
Saute onions in 1/4 cup of bacon drippings.
Add sugar, salt, garlic powder, dry mustard and vinegar.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Mix this with all the beans (drain the butter, lima and kidney beans but not the baked beans) and the molasses in crock-pot.
Cook on low 5 or 6 hours.
