Apea Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sour milk
1/2 c. margarine or lard
1 tsp. baking soda in milk (or use sour milk)

Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and add sugar, lard and margarine. Work with hands and then add sour milk. Work it like you do pie dough.
Then roll in batter cake.
