Buffet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bags frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine potatoes and 1/2 cup of butter with other ingredients; pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Top with crushed corn flakes and butter (use 1 1/2 cups of flakes and 1/4 cup butter).
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 or 1 1/2 hours.
