Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 slices bread, cubed
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add beaten egg. Add lukewarm water and mix well with wooden spoon.
    Add bread.
    Mix well and roll into oblong dumplings or in 2 pieces if desired. Place in boiling water. Cover and cook about 10 minutes on one side.
    Turn over and cook on the other side.
    Cut with string.
